At McDonnell Creek SS we offer a supportive and inclusive environment for all of our learners.
We deliver V8.4 of the Australian Curriculum through the P-6 Small Schools Framework, with V9 of the English and Maths Australian Curriculum to be delivered in 2025.
We work collaboratively with our cluster schools and access specialised teachers and support staff (including Guidance Officer and HOSES) from Babinda State School.
We aim to provide engaging learning opportunities within and beyond the classroom to allow students to learn using real life concepts and experiences.
At McDonnell Creek SS we have long standing and permanent staff to allow for consistency of practice across the school.
Students at McDonnell Creek SS achieve outsanding results on Curriculum assessment tasks and perform strongly on NAPLAN.
